• Hi
When inserting the link library inside a page you can specify which categories to display.

But I did not find ow this can be done when inserting the library as a widget in the sidebar.

If the page is a categories page, how can the widget be dependent on the specific posts category (as it was with the legacy links widget)?

    Thanks for your help,
    Marcos

The Legacy Links widget is something that was part of WordPress. Link Library is an independent plugin from that.

When you add Link Library to a page using a widget in a sidebar, one of the parameters you select is a Library Configuration. Library Configurations are defined in a section with this same name under the Link Library menu section in the admin. In that configuration, you can select which categories are going to be displayed.

At this time, there is no way to have Link Library pick up on the fact that it is being displayed on a category page and to display links of the same category.

    Hi
    Thanks for your answer.
The category functionality of the legacy widget was useful, but Link Library has much more many options.
I tried the category configuration but it does not show the links. It could be good to have a link categories option that show the links in a accordion menu fashion.
So a link to a full link library page will do in the mean time.
