Your review text should display. There isn’t a specific parameter to display review text or not.

I added [book-reviews covers=true] to one of my pages, but when I go to that page I can only see the book title, author, cover image and rating, and I have to click on the book title to see the text I wrote about the book. If you go to https://www.millemoi.com and click “b?cker” you will see what I mean.

You’re right, my mistake. The shortcode just shows the meta information by default (genre, rating, etc). I can add a parameter to display the review content to my todo list.
