    Hi,

Since we upgraded to WP4.5.1 about a week ago i’ve found that I can’t open the media library anymore. Either by clicking ‘media’ on the left hand menu or when editing a page and trying to insert a photo.

The pages just looks like it’s loading and loading but never actually gets anywhere. When adding an image to a page via the ‘Set image’ WP lightbox the top level search buttons are there but the page is just blank.

I’m not overly technical and i’m not sure if its a WP issue, a plugin issue or something else but i’d sure appreciate some support to re-access my media library.

Note the images are still there, if I click on the ‘Assistant’ sub menu the grid shows up with all the images, titles, alt tags etc.

    Thanks in advance

Thank you for our report; I regret the trouble you are having with the WP 4.5.1 upgrade.

You can try disabling the MLA enhancements for the Media/Library Grid view and “Add Media” screens. Go to the Settings/Media Library Assistant General tab and scroll down to the “Media Manager/Media Grid Enhancements” section, then uncheck the first two boxes to prevent MLA from downloading any JavaScript to your browser. Scroll to the bottom and click “Save Changes” to save your work. If that works, let me know.

I have released MLA version 2.30, which contains a JavaScript fix that may correct the problem you reported.

I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if the problem persists in the new version. Thanks for your patience in awaiting the new version.

    Hi David,

Sorry, I didn’t reply to you previously.

Your previous email did help a bit, made it workable but not perfect, but the new update makes it work much more seemlessly than before.

Thanks for your very good support!

Thanks for your update with the good news, and for your positive review as well.

Good reviews and positive feedback are a great incentive to keep working on the plugin and supporting its users.
