• I’m trying to set up on a client’s existing WP site and I’m able to install the plugin and assign accounts, but when logged in as a librarian, the dashboard widget is missing from the top of the page and clicking on “site admin” link just takes me to the bare user page (~wp/my-account).

I exported a copy of their site and installed it on my dev machine and the plugin is working fine there, so I’ve included details about my local environment. I didn’t install all the plugins the client has but I did try Wordfence because I suspected it as the culprit – no dice). Users with other non-admin privileges, like “author” can also see the dashboard. AFAIK they haven’t made any code changes to prevent non-admins from accessing the dashboard. Any insights?

I have no clue. cpsrvd is NOT the webserver, that is the cPanel service daemon.

The only thing I can think of is to diable *all* of the plugins on the production server, and see if things work. If it does, you can then enable each plugin one-by-one and see if that makes any difference.

Have you been able to get things to work?

    Hi Robert,

Thanks for checking in. I haven’t had time for more troubleshooting yet but will probably get to it later this week. I’ll let you know if I find an answer.
