• I need to find some way of letting visitors to my wordpress blog upload photos without having a totally separate cumbersome registration process. Ideally a process just like the commenting system, where you approve the images that are uploaded, or don’t approve them. Any suggestions? Anything out there that would let me smoothly associate a “gallery” of user uploaded photos with a particular blog page?

  • Try the Role Manager plugin- you can assign a certain level only to upload files or let anyone do it. Also, you can create new roles and capabilities.

Hey, thanks for your reply. Were you seeing this plugin used in conjunction with some other image or gallery-managing plugin? I played around with coppermine a long time ago, but I couldn’t see how to a) associate galleries with a specific wordpress page b) set it up so casual visitors could upload things.
