Letting viewers Filter by category for Posts

On my website, I am about to start a lot of blog posts. I have the blog posts broken down by various categories. Ideally, I’d love to have a list of the categories above the start of the posts “All , Commercial, Home insurance, Auto, etc..” and if the user clicks on one of these filters, only posts that have this category will show up. For instance, on the bottom of the site, where it says “Section Title”, this would be the name of the name of various categories and then if you click that, then only posts with that category are displayed. I think there are some paid widgets I have seen out there that can do this, but I am hoping that there is a free widget or another workaround solution that someone has.
