I have Let’s Encrypt SSL for my WordPress site and saw a notification in the admin panel that I need to install the SSL certification. After following a few steps, I am at a point that I need to manually install it and the instruction points me to this page which has an important message “We highly recommend that you use [Bitnami HTTPS configuration (bncert)] instead of following the manual steps in this tutorial.“: https://lightsail.aws.amazon.com/ls/docs/en_us/articles/amazon-lightsail-using-lets-encrypt-certificates-with-wordpress

Now, I cannot even clear the red dot notification at the SSL section. What should I do? Should I continue to follow the manual step? Or there are way to clear the red dot? Since Lightsail provides the site certificate for my site, is it a bit redundant to have this done through this process one more time?

Thanks a lot for your help!

    Hi @cupidchan,

your site does have an SSL certificate now, did you manage to install it? Having a valid SSL certificate should make the red dot disappear. You can use either the manual installation or the bncert tool, if Bitnami recommends bncert I’d recommend to use that.
