Let's Connect/About Me/Welcome Box Brunelleschi Theme

I’m trying to put in a welcome/let’s connect box like the one on this blog (except maybe a little bigger). I have Brunelleschi Theme and there’s no option to add this type of widget to the right sidebar…Do I need code to do it? Can I find a widget for it? I don’t even know what this thing is called. I just want something static with my picture and my summary about the page. Or an excerpt of the summary that you can click on to read more.
