Let users edit own rooms?

  • I’m just testing the workings of this plugin with BBB’s testserver.
    My plan is to grant teachers the option to create and delete their own conference rooms, which I imagine would be not too difficult, if there was a user-id column added to the bigbluebutton db-table.

    As the situation is now, admin in wordpress has to set up rooms, which is again requires admin to be present at all times, more or less.

    Is this in your plans, or is there something I have got wrong here?

    Hi there,

    Unfortunately that functionality is not covered in the current version. Extending it for having that capability is a super major addition.

    There is a new version we have been working on during the last months you may want to give it a try. The code can be found in the github repository.

    Be advised though that it is still in alpha. There must be still some hidden bugs there.
