    Hi

your plugin is awesome and works very well!

I only miss the option to provide checkboxes on the result-page, so that my clients can select the the domains of their choice and add them to the cart with one click.

I haven’t found any option to provide this functionality, so I wonder if this is possible at all at the current state?

If this is possible, would you mind to point me to the right direction for enabling this feature?

Thank you in advance and kind regards,
    Sascha

If you change the “Add to cart behaviour” to “Stay on current page” this is already possible. You can than add multiple domains to your cart with clicking multiple links.

Hello, thank you for your reply ??

I have tried that already and found it not only a bit cumbersome for the visitor/client, but it’s also not working well:

After switching the mode to “Stay on current page” and refreshing the domain-checker-page in incognito-window, the domain-field gets cleared after clicking “buy now” or “transfer” no matter what.

That’s why I’d prefer a checkbox-based option for my clients to purchase multiple TLDs at once ??

Any chance to provide this feature?

    Kind regards,
    Sascha

The domain field should not get cleared. Which browser are you using?
A checkbox based solution is not as easy to implement.

“The domain field should not get cleared. Which browser are you using?”

Oh, it’s working well on Chrome, but on Firefox the field will be cleared.

I can’t imagine how much effort you have already put into this plugin and I’m very very thankful for providing your work for free here ?? Why not providing the checkbox-feature as a paid upgrade? I would pay for this feature about 20€ per year ??

I have put that feature on my todo list. But it will take couple of days or weeks until it will be released.

Feature is now added, choose “Stay on current page (checkboxes)” as add to cart behaviour.

Wow, that was quick! And it’s working very well!
    Thank you so much ??

One more thing to ask you: I have realised that the search takes up some until the results are being displayed and also, during search, that the site is starting to become a bit slow, probably due to the search operation that happens in conjunction with external services, correct?

I wonder about to overcome this by deploying the domain-search on a subdomain with a singular wp-installation that is deployed on external auto-scaling hosting like AWS. The question is if and how to make the add-to–cart kinda “push” the requested domains back to cart of the main site. Do you know what I mean? This way the search will probably not affect the performance of the main-site.

I hope I’m not pushing too hard, just sharing ideas for potential improvements ??

    Thanks

The most efficient way would be to just put the whois script (for quering the whois servers) on an external hosting. So no additional WordPress installation would be nessecary and WooCommerce would be not affected.
But that contains serveral problems like the setup and updating of the external script (whois servers). Or protecting the access from others (cross origin requests).

Basically this is not a bad idea, but currently it is a bit out of scope.
