    Hi Guys,

first of all, great plugin. Thank you very much for putting out there for free.

I’m having issues, with the resume button.

No matter where I am in a course: quiz, topic, lesson….
It always redirects me to a website.com/courses/ page

Seems to be a special Archive page with all the courses created.

No clue what’s going on. Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance
    Marlon

    Hi Marlon,

That is very odd… And at a glance, I don’t know why it might happen. We have not seen that before. Here are some thoughts:

Make sure the button is not placed inside any LearnDash post types, including in a sidebar

I do wonder about whether anything might be modifying the LearnDash enrolment behaviour that we normally expect, like a membership plugin or something else causing access to not be recognized correctly. Have you tried temporarily disabling all other plugins except LearnDash and the Toolkit to see if it still happens? If it’s a conflict, that might help to isolate it.

    that as quick.

hmmm…the button is placed in a separate page.

I just discovered that it works fine with admins but not all other users.

    Very strange…

Ok then, just been testing this on a staging site. Removed all other plugins and even changed to a basic theme but the same thing happens.

One thing to note is that when I activate the resume button feature is that say “error, check logs” or something to that effect. Nothing in the logs though.

    What could be causing it?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Marlon,

It likely says “Check Console”, meaning the browser javascript console. In Chrome, try navigating to View > Developer > Javascript Console and check for errors there. It could be an unsupported PHP version, a javascript conflict or potentially even an issue with debug output if that’s turned on. If you’re seeing that with a bare install and default theme though then something in the environment is definitely off; I would start by reconfirming that you’re using PHP 5.6 or higher.

    thanks for the answer.

“Check Console” was the message. I did what you suggested but there are no errors there.

    I’m running 7.0.

No idea here. No errors on the server log either.

Sorry Marlon, what you’re describing is very unusual and difficult to troubleshoot through this form. Try also turning debug off if it’s currently on; it’s just really unusual for this to fail with a default theme, no other plugins (except maybe LearnDash) active and no errors in the console.

Well, I don’t know what you did in the last update, but it fixed my issue.

Now all the students can take advantage of this.

    Thanks very much!

Well, that’s great to hear! We’re making a small tweak in the next version as well to reduce possible issues related to posts that no longer exist, so we are continuously making improvements.
