I can’t figure out where to edit the heading styling for the ‘lesson content’ section when you have a topics: https://share.getcloudapp.com/P8ubrPNG. The drop down button and the header itself. Are these options?

It’s the table list header + title: ld-table-list-header.

I know I can style it with CSS on my own but that would defeat the purpose of using your plugin. ??

    Thanks.

First, I’m assuming you have the Pro version, as this feature is only available in Pro, not in free.

The background & text colors of the “Lesson Content” area are found in the Course Content Lists panel. (screenshot example)

The “expand/collapse” link and the arrow inherit the colors you set on the General Design panel for Link Color and Link Hover Color.

Please be sure to reset the color options on the LearnDash LMS > Settings page, as these can mess with our plugin’s styles.

    THanks for the quick reply.

I am indeed using the pro version. I double checked that all of the colors are reset in the LD settings yet changing that header under the setting you suggested is not working:

Hmm. It’s gotta be either a theme conflict, another plugin you’re using or some custom CSS that is overriding our plugin. I’d have to take a look at the page to figure it out.

Can you please email us at [email protected]? We’ll take a look at it for you and figure out what’s going on.

Ok so I basically figured out what the issue is. LearnDash has some new Elementor widgets, and if you use that (as opposed to just the straight shortcode) then there are styling options: https://share.getcloudapp.com/X6uNj1LA. I neglected to remove those which were overriding your plugin.

You might want to look into this in case similar issues arise!

    Thanks.

Glad you figured it out ??.

We have actually tested our plugin with the new Elementor integration, and the fact that Elementor’s styles override ours is intentional. This gives users the most flexibility possible.

They can use our plugin’s styles to set global design for all elements, and then if they decide to use Elementor to insert LearnDash elements, they can override the styles on an element-by-element basis with Elementor.

We’ve written a comprehensive article on how our plugin works with the LearnDash Elementor integration if you’re curious to learn more.
