Hi. I am trying to get to know Jigoshop. I’ve installed the Sparkling theme, and am testing a few products, so I am at the very beginning.

In looking at the MySQL tables, I see a number with woocommerce in their names, such as wp_c7bg49_woocommerce_attribute_taxonomies. I had installed Woo Commerce and deleted it, so I assume these tables are not necessary. Should I delete the tables?

Will Jigoshop install similar tables to replace the woo commerce ones? I don’t see any tables with Jigoshop in their name.

I have a screenshot of the tables. Let me know if I can attach it.

    Thanks,
    David

    Hello David,

Jigoshop should install required tables by itself – we use some tables to store additional data for products and orders. At least we have jigoshop_attribute_taxonomies table as well. If you don’t have them – please deactivate Jigoshop and try to activate it once more, but you need to delete one information from your DB: delete_option('jigoshop_db_version') or you can remove jigoshop_db_version from wp_options table (in your case wp_c7bg49_options). This value keeps Jigoshop from installing everything each time it’s activated.

Hi, Amadeus. This has been on the back burner for a while, but I finally got back to it a couple of days ago. The problem is, indeed, resolved. I had to delete all the database tables, after which I was prompted to re-install WP. Starting with a clean WP database, I re-installed Jigoshop, and the appropriate tables are now present.

    Thank you for your help.
