    Hi,

After deleting bunch of images I noticed a lot of leftover webp images on my server. They are deleted from media but when I checked uploads, there is bunch of webp images which aren’t deleted. Is there a way to delete all this images? Thank you!

  • Your server control panel should have a file manager. Use it and sort images by type in upload dir and remove images you don’t need anymore.

This isn’t the right way to promote your business.

What solution did you expect? The cache plugin does not support the function of deleting images that are no longer needed. Therefore you have to use native functions of your server.

If you don’t wish to help, please don’t comment.

Help does not always mean that the person seeking help can get exactly what they want. In this specific case, unfortunately, that is the case. The cache plugin does not support the function you want.

So, LiteSpeed support partner, when you delete image from Media, webp images which are created with plugin aren’t deleted?

As far as I know no.

You don’t have to be cynical when someone gives you free help.

I think that you are wrong, you are are giving wrong information and this kind of free help isn’t helpful.

There is nothing wrong with my anser, but I forgot to tell you that removing .webp images is not a automatically process, so you must gather image data again in image optimization tab.

Yes it is, I deleted all images and your answers are all but not helpful. So please don’t talk nonsense and stop “helping”. If you are LiteSpeed support partner, they need to think twice about that.

Could you please share the file original name , and the leftover’s file name?

and by any chance, did you enable WP 6.x’s webp support ?
