Is it possible to activate the left sidepanel in the free version?

I have been trying to get it to work but it won’t.

  • Hey blokhut,

If you want to activate left sidepanel,
first of all go inside your page.
Under Page Attributes you can select a template named left sidebar Page.
Then save and update your page.
You can select the widgets from appearance>>widgets>>. Drag and drop the widget/s to your Page/blog left sidebar.

Hope this is what you are looking for.
    Thanks!

I wish it was that easy. I have actived it but it doesn’t work.
All my pages are static pages. It says Blog page with left sidebar. Could that be the reason why it doesn’t work?

I deleted all my widgets and only made 1 for the left sidebar. Activated the Blog with left sidepanel but nothing changes.
Even without any sidebars my text doesn’t change. I expected my text to be on full width but it isn’t.

    Hi,

If you wish to activate left sidebar on your entire blog page ,you can go inside appearance>>customize>>Basic Settings>>Blog Layout and then select the option Blog with left side bar.
However the theme does not have any feature regarding left side-bar in a particular post. You have to customize the child theme yourself.

    Thanks,
    Rohan
