Meets my needs. Good support, works well with ColorMag

  • I have used this plugin for about six months. Sometimes it has been a frustrating learning experience. However this has usually been due to my inexperience rather than any fault with the plugin, and now when I understand the system better I am extremely satisfied. Support is very good and often instantaneous. When I get stuck, the problem is almost always due to the theme and not MaxGalleria. After trying a number of different themes I have settled on ColorMag. ColorMag and MaxGalleria works well together.

    My main disappointment with MaxGalleria has been that Titles and Captions are not transferred easily from Lightroom. As I have thousands of images in my LR catalog, this initially was a deal killer. However the free plugin MMWW (Media Metadata Workflow Wizzard) by Ollie Jones facilitates the move with ease.

    If I could make one suggestion it would be to make it easier to retrieve specific pages, albums and/or galleries from what could be very long multi-page lists. Perhaps an option to sort the items by last time revised could be offered.

    It was pointed out to me that complaining about a lack of response over the weekend is unfair. I agree. Sorry. I received a followup today (Monday). I am happy.
