    Sunken sidebars, such as the one shown in your second example post, are often caused by stray pieces of HTML in a post’s content.

    Could you navigate to the editor for your post? In the top right corner, you’ll find two tabs: Visual and Text. Switch to Text to view the post’s HTML and search for any <div> tags that don’t have a matching opening or closing tag.

    For example, the following screenshot highlights a closing </div> tag that doesn’t have any matching opening tag. This would cause layout issues:

    Stray HTML can be added to content if it’s copied/pasted from elsewhere on the web or from third-party editors. You can avoid it being copied over, in the future, by using the editor’s “Paste as Text” tool:
