    That is happening because of the CSS display:inline for the span element. Go to the Smooth Slider settings page ==> Basic setting tab ==> Miscellaenous section ==> Enter the below CSS in “Custom Styles” box and save changes.

    .smooth_slider span{display:inline-block !important;}

    You may need to increase the height of the slider from Basic Settings section on Smooth Slider settings page.
