Left hand coulmn showing settings,plugins,etc not showing

Try deactivating plugins one by one. Had the very same problem, but mine was from WP insert.
I’ll activate WP insert only when I need.

i am unable to get to my plugins…..otherwise i would do that.

Any suggestion as to how to get to them.

Try:
– switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

– re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

i switched to the Twenty Eleven theme but still was unable to fix my issue.

I was able to enter the /plugins.php which brought up the plugins page,where i started deactivating the plugins + found the plugin causing the issue.

I now have the left hand Menu working.
