Left align logo in header

Hi there,

I am having trouble left aligning the logo in the header. I have read previous posts and have found & tried adding the following to my Custom CSS:

.header-inner {
position: relative;
z-index: 2;
text-align: left; }

Any ideas how I can get this to work?
