Left Align Image in Excerpt – Bueno Theme

I am using the bueno theme to blog. On my main page, I can use a featured image but it only loads on top of the content. When you click on a story the image will load to the left and the content will justify to the right. I want the excerpt on the home page to look similar to the content on the story page. I checked the style and found the code that on the story page but cannot figure out how to get the index page to see the class to link to the css.

I was looking in the index.php and page.php for the code but do not know enough programming to figure out how to modify the php to pull the right div class.
