After installation this plugin leaves traces such as

    1. $table_prefix.’_postmeta’ (can be deleted by manually deleting all download items)
    2. $table_prefix.’_posts’ (can be deleted by manually deleting all download items)
    3. $table_prefix.’_options’ (rewrite_rules, recently_edited, sdm_db_version)
    4. Even a whole standalone table $table_prefix.’_sdm_downloads’

At the very least, there should be a plugin setting to “delete database info”.
    Can you do so?

Hi, thank you for reporting this and making a request. The plugin developers will investigate further your request.

    Kind regards

This is intentional. We want to make sure that people don’t lose their valuable data if they accidentally deactivate and delete the plugin. That little bit of data doesn’t harm anything in any way (almost all hosting companies offer unlimited space now). So in my opinion it is better to not auto delete the data on plugin un-install.

I will add an option in the settings maybe so you can delete the data if you want to before deleting the plugin.

I see your point, but the option idea is indeed important. Keep the default as you wish but let advanced users decide for themselves.

The new version of the plugin has an option for this in the settings.

    Thanks!!!

I’ve tested it and the only thing that still remains is rewrite_rules in $table_prefix.’_options’ – is it possible to add that too?

We will add it in the next release of the plugin.
