Leave comments out?

    Hello.

    Just a quick question. Is it possible to leave comments out of your complete wordpress site? And to put the post section on another page than index.php? I don’t want posts to go to the index.php but to my news.php.

    Is that possible?

  • IN an existing theme, it is entirely possible to remove (or comment out) all code and style references to its comments; and, then “check” the appropriate setting to disable comments in the Dashboard. The ease or difficulty would be theme dependent.

    I don’t want posts to go to the index.php but to my news.php.

    For this you might consider using home.php for the purpose you have in mind for your current index.php file, and then simply let the index.php file carry on with the functionality you want to put to the news.php file.
