    Hi all,

    Does anyone know how to make the ‘Leave a Reply’ font smaller?(twenty-twelve theme) and how to make the sidebar fonts smaller?

    I am new to this but have managed to tweak a fair bit so far. These are the only things that I can’t figure out, any tips appreciated.

    Do not edit the Twenty Twelve theme. It is the default WordPress theme and having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues. First create a child theme for your changes. Or use a custom CSS plugin.

    Sorry, should have mentioned, I have made my changes on a child theme.

    Excellent ! ?? Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS troubleshooting. Or use whatever developer tool is available in your web browser. It should help you to track down the CSS that you need to over-write via your child’s stylesheet.

    I have firebug but it shows one paragraph of text (re. google fonts) when I choose CSS with my site open – have tried to understand this but there is literally nothing there that gives me a clue.
