LearnPress Logic not working properly for prerequisite courses

I am having some serious issues for my clients site. We have LearnPress set up to accept payment via WooCommerce.
The first issue we are having is that people who have purchased a class with a coupon code are not able to take the class after purchasing it. The orders are going from a complete status to pending payment and then they are stuck there for no reason. There is no payment due as the coupon code was for 100% off the price.
I have contacted the developer and WooCommerce and I can’t seem to figure out the issue.
Now I am having trouble with the prerequisite courses. I have users who purchased their first class in Dec 2021 and now they are trying to access the second class in January and it’s saying there is no record of them completing the first class…is this due to a change in teh calendar year? Shouldn’t it carry over all the information…I never set anything saying that information should reset.
There is also an issue with people paying with PayPal, it seems the order is stuck in a processing status and I was told by WOoCOmmerce that I would have to manually complete the order when payment is received via PayPal…that is unacceptable. What is the point in having an online payment system that is supposed to process payments and then I have to tell the client to manually approve items…that isn’t going to work.
