  • I didn’t have this problem on my site, but you might try disabling all other plugins temporarily and try the upgrade again afterwards. Maybe that will get you back up and running before LP support gets around to helping, I’m sure they’re extremely swamped after the major update.

Same problem here. I tried disabling all the other plugins but with no success. I then disabled and re-enabled the learnpress plugin and the notification disappeared. Not sure if the database was really updated because I now have the problem of not being able to create new orders or add to existing orders.

    UPDATE 1:
After to tinkering I realize that if I create a new course I can manually add it to an order, something I was unable to do. It looks like existing orders were passed on but the new version of LP cannot access the database for pre-upgrade courses, only new ones.

    UPDATE 2:
I tried importing a backup of my courses and am now able to add them to orders. I’m not a DBA but I have to assuming that the database was not updated (upgraded??? maybe but cant say for certain). Hope this info helps in some way.

I reinstall LearnPress plugin and now the message is gone. Thanks

I have the same issue. Is a reinstall of LearnPress necessary?

And if so, will the course data be saved?

I had the same problem. After reinstall of learnpress message disappeared, but I noticed more problems:
    – if I create new course and set course price in course list and in course view windows price is Free, only in edit mode I can see prices.
    – after reinstall all course info stayed as it was before (I thought it should be deleted)
    – I tried to duplicate one course and 2 copies of that course was created
    – I had 4 courses created, in one course external link to buy course worked, in other 3 courses stopped working, always go to checkout page
    – I couldn’t change Author of any course
    – in one course one instructor was missing I couldn’t choose him (co instructors plugin)

I think all the problems could be related to the database update failure. So far I restored my website from backup and I will wait until this upgrade will be fixed and better tested.

Same problem. Update to 3.0.3 version has broken a learn platform of a customer.

I perform database update, but nothing appears to update. Courses sales are not showing alums who bought the course, and the existing courses are not appearing when I try to perform a new sale.

It has also broken connection with bbpress forum. Forum courses are not connected and alums can’t access them.

I have just recovery the entire site to previous backup and like @enorvaisa, I will wait for more stable version of this major update.

Hi @enorvaisa I have check new version are avaliable (3.0.5. I had problems on v. 3.0.3)

    Did you check that?

    Thanks.

I have updated the database of LearnPress but now I get an Internal Server Error and the users can’t access the course. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you very much

I see no answers from anyone from Learnpress.

I tried the update per Mr Nguyen and that errored also.

Starting to think dumping it may be the best option. I will hang in for a few days, but the lack of response suggests there is no workable solution to this problem… and that makes Learnpress unusable.
