learnpress 2.0 issues quick fixing.

  • Hello everybody,

    After months hard working, finally LearnPress 2.0 was released, cheers. We truly believe that LearnPress 2 will be much better than the 1.x version. although we had tested very seriously for a long time but it’s seem that somewhere in some case there are something still not working properly as all expected, We are so sorry for the inconvenience. We will post all issues that we know here for you guys, if anyone get the same problem can easily find the solution, until the problems solved and a repair update available.

    Issues:

    1, the course overview and curriculum do not show up.
    solution: check if you are using Yoast plugin, please deactive it. (of course until the problems solved).

    2, Woocommerce add-on payment error:
    Fatal error: Can’t use method return value in write context in /public_html/alschool/wp-content/plugins/learnpress/inc/class-lp-checkout.php on line 302
    solution: upgrade your PHP version to >= 5.6.

    3, any Parse Eoror, can not log-in to dashboard
    solution: find your host FTP account, use filezila or any FTP clients to contect to your host, replace the learnpress folder in yoursite/wp-content/plugins/learnpress by ne this one.

    finaly, if you want to rollback to LearnPress 1.0.8 please replace LearnPress with this one (process detail same as issue #3, don’t forget to extract first ?? ).

    I am missing here the widgets for the LearnPress Courses. They arent now.

    Any idea why the page is just loading after clicking complete lesson? I can refresh the page and it will show as completed but if I just click complete it will just stay there loading.

    i am getting a 500 error when trying to access PAGES in admin.
    I’ve narrowed it down to both Learnpress AND jetpack (activating either independently causes the same problem).

    i have attempted your rollback and updating instructions above, but the zip file for the rollback is giving me version 0.9 and the other gives me an empty file..

    any more suggestions?
