learndash integration issue

gamipress learndash integration 1.2.9So far integrations have been working as expected but I have run into one snag.
I have a few courses where I would like to simply give users points for completing courses within a category. To accomplish this I am working in Im working in gamipress -> point types and I have defined 3 different point types.
When I access the section for “Automatic Points Awards” -> When filed I have all the supported ways including the learndash implementation specific ones.
Since I would like to simply give a point per course in a category taken I select “Complete a course of a category” and the page changes to display a dropdown right next to it, I assume for choosing a “category” however I simply see a downward arrow.
The same thing happens if I change “WHEN” to be “Complete a course of a tag”. Im my case my courses dont have any tags so I would expect this. However all my courses are associated to a single category which doesnt display.
Whats strange is that if I change the “WHEN” field to “Complete a specific course” the dropdown next to it DOES work and shows me a list of all my courses.
Has anyone else encountered this?
