Learndash and Community Add On

Hi, I have found there is a conflict between the learndash and community add on. When I uploaded the community add on, it disabled my learndash trigger options. Is this just me or is it a bug?

Have you confirmed that the steps come back when you disable the Community Addon again?

Any other BadgeOS based extensions enabled as well?

Wes, can you check your “Posts” list for the achievements? We have a lingering issue from the Community Addon that causes achievement post types to switch to “post” with Badgeos 4.2.x still have not figured out *why* and it’s maddening :S

I only see my original posts under “posts”. These are supposed to be my blog posts, right? No achievement posts or badge posts.

I’m having this same problem with the LearnDash Add-On and the Community Add-On. With the Community Add-On enabled, none of the LearnDash Activity drop-down options will come up when I select “LearnDash Activity” as the trigger. The problem is solved as soon as I disable the Community Add-On. Are there any plans to fix this issue? I’d love to award badges for both LearnDash and Community accomplishments. Please let me know if you need additional info.

Could you provide screenshots of what you’re seeing, so that I can be better certain of what’s going on? At the moment, I’m not able to recreate the issue, but obviously each site is different as well.

I am having the same issue. When community plugin is activated the learndash plugin doesn’t work in multiple ways.

I am not sure how to post a screenshot on a reply to show you. When both plugins are activated and I try to add a badge and choose learndash as a step – the 2nd drop down options never appears.

Also I have a badge setup when someone posts a new topic on the forum they earn points. The points are never earned when both plugins are active.

katiemeeks, just to be certain, do you have BuddyPress installed and active? or just bbPress?

The community addon is mostly specific to BuddyPress, but it does have some bbPress support as well.

bbPress – it is the community that works with learndash. I need to have them all working together, is that possible? ??

our community addon has too much dependent on BuddyPress to not have it activated, as much as it sucks to say. There’s only a few triggers that are specific to bbPress, and the rest are for BuddyPress. One of the open issues I have is to have the addon deactivate itself if BuddyPress isn’t available.
