Learing WordPress 3 Plugin Development.. is it too late ?

  • Hello, i’m kinda new in wordpress programming, at the moment i want to know if i buy books and courses about wordpress 3 development, is it already too late ? since wordpress 4 will be release next month ? is there significant changes in the API from wordpress 3.x to wordpress 4.x ?

    It’s never too late. ??

    WordPress 4 will have some new APIs that you can take advantage of, but as far as I can tell, no existing APIs or plugin development techniques will be removed or significantly changed.
