leading white space deleted in code

  • Has anyone know how to preserve leading white space in code? I’m using the latest version of wordpress and tried the “Preserve Code Formatting” plugin. It does not work. As soon as you go into the visual editor all the white space is stripped out. This is something that is unavoidable, as the visual editor is the default one.

    If you edit your users profile there is a setting to diable the visual editor.

    Have you tried that?

    Is it not possible to preserve whitespace and have visual editor as well? I mean isn’t the whole point of wordpress it makes it easy to write blogs without having to type in raw html?
