    When we originally wrote the plugin, we were a bit of shall I say… WordPress noobies, so we didn’t append the tables with the WPDB prefix. Modifying the plugin is pretty straight forward, but retrofitting the plugin for existing installs to work correctly now would be pretty janky and likely to break. For the single site installation we’ll probably leave the prefixes the same in the short term until we figure out a better way to make the change.

    We do modify the plugin prefixes for WordPress multisite’s installs to account for different databases, so the plugin should still work pretty reliably on most WordPress setups.
