Lead in Text is showing in Widget

  • The text that is used at the start of the post (while it is hidden in the published post) it is now showing in the Widget “Our Featured Articles” this is a Genesis Theme using Genesis Featured Post.

    How can we get this to not display in the Featured Post? Looks like we are going to have to remove this useful feature if we can’t resolve this.

    Just to confirm, did you use -AMAZONPOLLY-ONLYAUDIO-START- to create this text?

    Yes -AMAZONPOLLY-ONLYAUDIO-START- Follow the link and you can see its getting picked up on the widget

    I had this set to content limit to show the first 150 characters of the post but it’s showing the -AMAZONPOLLY-ONLYAUDIO-START- that is supposed to not show? For now, I have set it to only display the Title. Appears your plugin is in conflict with Genesis Theme

    Hi Thomas,
    Yes, we are aware of this problem with widgets, this is on our roadmap to fix it, but currently the only solution is to not use any ‘polly specific text’ at the beginning of the plugin. I will leave the ticket open, and I will let you know when it will be resolve. I’m sorry for inconvenience.
