I am building a new website for my business. I installed the official Constant Contact form plugin in an effort to capture leads on my website. Along with email, I have custom fields of address, phone number, description of service needed. I have linked the plugin to my constant contact account and setup a new email list to capture all of the leads. All looks correct, but when I test the lead capturing forms on my site nothing in showing in my email lists.

We have had some cases where there was a delay but they did eventually show up. Wanting to check and see if that may be happening for you, before diving into other topics to debug.

It’s been over a week, I tried the waiting 48 hours with the constant contact staff

As a followup, I wanted to confirm two things:

    1. Have you checked and had the form include the opt-in functionality present when building the form? It’s going to be required, from the looks of it.
    2. Do you happen to have WP_CRON disabled at all, at least knowingly? The request to the Constant Contact API is added to a cron schedule and executed about a minute after the submission, so there will be at least that much delay. However, if something is interfering with the execution of the cron schedule, then it won’t work.

Also, is the opt-in checkbox available on the frontend for the user to check? If you’re visually hiding it, it’s not going to work, as they need to authorize being added to the list in question.

If you haven’t yet, please upgrade to version 1.2.2 @tangletowngardens as the recent releases have bug fixes that hopefully address these issues. Once upgraded, try things out again and see if they get to the lists like expected.
