    Hi,
Recently I have seen and observed that in Google webmaster tool section
    1) CLS issue: more than 0.25 (mobile)-Affected URLs 4
    2) LCP issue: longer than 4s (mobile)-Affected URLs 6.37K
We are using AMP plugins why this error is showing?
    How to resolve the issue?
    Thanks

    Hi @swissspidy,
    Website Url https://www.zotezo.com/

    Thanks

    (@swissspidy)

@zotezo You’re using AMP in Transitional mode. That means https://www.zotezo.com/ is your regular website, and https://www.zotezo.com/?amp is the AMP version of it. Are you sure Search Console is showing you the metrics for the AMP version and not the regular one? Because I get the following metrics:

    Regular:

    LCP: 2.40s
    CLS: 0.685

    AMP:

    LCP: 2.02s
    CLS: 0.000

My recommendation is to switch your site to AMP Standard mode, and then work on resolving any AMP compatibility issues that might pop up. Then you should see much better values.

Use the Web Vitals Chrome extension to compare the values for your AMP and non-AMP sites.

@adeone Please open a new support topic and share your website URL there so we can better assist you. If you are using AMP transitional mode, please also follow above advice.

    Hi,
yes please check the url https://tinyurl.com/yabzpepp
    >>and then work on resolving any AMP compatibility issues that might pop up
In webmaster tool there is no validation error are showing.
But in Admin panel it is showing Error index page 1054 and Validated url 54

Further in webmaster as there is not showing any validation error But AMP validated url gradually decreasing day by day.

What is happening I do not know.
Please guide me on what needs to be done.
    Thanks

    > yes please check the url https://tinyurl.com/yabzpepp

According to the screenshot, the data is for “https://www.zotezo.com/” as accessed on mobile. As I mentioned before, https://www.zotezo.com/ is your regular version, not the AMP version. Mobile ≠ AMP.

    > Please guide me on what needs to be done.

The documentation available at https://amp-wp.org/documentation/getting-started/ is usually a good start. It explains what to do with these validation errors.

Could you perhaps share your Site Health info from Tools -> Site Health in WordPress admin so we can get a better picture of your site?

It seems like you’re using the Astra theme? That should be AMP compatible (pinging @jamesosborne to confirm). But there might be some plugins on your site that aren’t.

If a plugin is not AMP compatible, it could be replaced with an alternative one that is. Our ecosystem page show AMP compatible themes & plugins.

If that is too complicated, using Reader mode might be a possibility.

    Hi,
Yes we are using ASTRA theme with the following site health informations below-
    Site Health Status
The site health check shows critical information about your WordPress configuration and items that require your attention.

    3 critical issues

You have plugins waiting to be updated
    Security
Plugins extend your site’s functionality with things like contact forms, ecommerce and much more. That means they have deep access to your site, so it’s vital to keep them up to date.

    Update your plugins

You have themes waiting to be updated

Themes add your site’s look and feel. It’s important to keep them up to date, to stay consistent with your brand and keep your site secure.

Your site could not complete a loopback request
    Performance
Loopback requests are used to run scheduled events, and are also used by the built-in editors for themes and plugins to verify code stability.

The loopback request to your site failed, this means features relying on them are not currently working as expected.
Error: [] cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

    3 recommended improvements

    WordPress update available (5.4.1)
    Performance
A new version of WordPress is available.

Install the latest version of WordPress

One or more recommended modules are missing
    Performance
PHP modules perform most of the tasks on the server that make your site run. Any changes to these must be made by your server administrator.

The WordPress Hosting Team maintains a list of those modules, both recommended and required, in the team handbook (opens in a new tab).

I’m afraid that’s the wrong information. In Site Health, click on “Info” and then “Copy site info to clipboard”.

As I mentioned before, try disabling plugins that cause AMP validation errors, and use Reader mode if your theme is causing issues.

@zotezo This is not an issue related to how the AMP Plugin works. Google recently introduced new metrics (LCP, CLS) related to page experiences. You can learn about it here: https://webmasters.googleblog.com/2020/05/evaluating-page-experience.html
