    Hi @realpetchicken!

I’m sorry, but we only support the lazy loading of our code, because other lazy loadings are often creating issues. There might be some plugins, which are compatible with Smart Slider, but I don’t really know specific plugins I could tell. So from our end we can only suggest our own lazy loading from the Pro version, as we can only assure that this will work out the way it suppose to.

@nextendweb_gabor Okay, i have another issue then, when i create an image layer and do fullwidth , it still shows white spaces on the left and right of the smart slider. I don’t want to use a background image, i want to use a image layer as the background.

    Thanks.

    Hi @realpetchicken

Only the slide background image can cover the whole slider in every possible responsive scenario. The layers can only be as big as the slide canvas. By default it has limited width at the Limit slide width option, at Slider settings > Size:
    https://smartslider.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1774-slider-settings-size
is enabled by default at each slide.

You could turn that off to allow the layers to cover the whole slider area, just in this case your slider might get too tall.

What’s the reason you want the image layer to be the “background” of your slide instead of the slide background?

    (@realpetchicken)

@nextend_ramona so i can add lazy css to the image layer, since lazy load is only available in the pro version.

    Oh, I see.

As Gabor mentioned above, we’re trying to exclude our images (all of our images, including layers) from 3rd parties lazy loading, because they tend to create problems. So I’m not sure it will work at all.

@nextend_ramona it actually works, went to google pagespeed and it showed the image layer with css lazy actually lazyloaded, it just doesn’t go fullwidth on my site. I will understand if you can’t help me. I would buy pro if it was cheaper.

    Hi @realpetchicken

it just doesn’t go fullwidth on my site.

Have you turned off Limit slide width at Slider settings > Size?
    https://smartslider.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1774-slider-settings-size

Do you have any kind of caching plugin? Have you cleared the cache after the Limit slide width was disabled?

If the Limit slide width is off and the cache was cleared, can you share the link to the page where I could see the problem? If you don’t want to post it to a public forum, you can share it privately here:

@nextend_ramona that worked! Thank you for the support. Do you guys have discounts on the plugin on major holidays? I would buy it at the right price.

    Hi @realpetchicken

I’m not sure about that yet. We had a Black Friday deal last year, but it’s pretty far away from now and we haven’t discussed that yet.

If you have any further questions about the Pro version, please contact us directly at:
    https://smartslider3.com/help/
because the rules of this forum don’t really allow us to discuss the Pro version, whether it’s a support or presales topic.
