    Hello there,

I’ve recently transferred to Siteground hosting and have installed the SG Optimizer plugin. I also have the free Cloudflare enabled that comes with Siteground.

Despite having enabled lazy-load for my images I’m not sure it’s working – when I check various page speed tests such as Google Pagespeed Insights https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.annabregmanportraits.co.uk they are still recommending that I defer image loading

I have very limited understanding of these things and don’t know how to check whether my images are lazy loading or not

    Can you please help?
    Many thanks
    Anna

    Hey there @annalou74,

Your images are lazy-loaded correctly. You can check that by right-clicking an image -> inspect. After that check for the image class – lazyloaded. It should be present if the image is lazyloaded. Also, a noscript tag should be present after the initial image.

I did a speed test and the Deffer offscreen image audit was passed successfully.

    Kind regards,
    Stoyan

    Hi Stoyan

Thanks so much for verifying that for me and also for the info on how to check.

    Best,
    Anna
