    Hello!
I have a woocommerce store (v 3.9.2 ) and jetpack (v 8.2.3) installed. The lazy loading feature of jetpack seems to be messing up the way that the product images are shown on the individual product page. I’m not sure what causes it, but this is what I did and what happened:

I had 4 product gallery images set and one main featured image set for the product.
I then went and deleted the third and fourth image and replaced them with new images shorter in height than the previous ones (as they were not the same size as the first two, now they are all the same size).
When I went back to the product to check how they looked, I flicked through the thumbnails, and when I reached the third image it expanded the “flex-viewport” element to be much taller than the image, causing a gap between the image and the thumbnails section below.
When I was investigating what was happening, it turned out that it was jetpacks lazy loading that somehow were making the “flex-viewport” taller (almost seeming as it thought the third image should be the same height as the previous image was at that position), as when I turned it off, it would function as expected (no empty gap between the thumbnails and the image when it was selected).

I’d like to keep using the Jetpack lazy loading for better performance, but not as long as it’s causing this.

I’m hoping I am posting this in the right plugin forum section, as I wasn’t sure if I should post this in the woocommerce forum or here.

    Thanks.

I submitted a thorough issue report on the Woocommerce github. You may want to read it as, after some studying of the woocommerce code, I do think it may be Jetpacks feature that is causing the issue.
You can read it here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/25857

Hello, I’m just checking in to see how things are going with this issue as I haven’t heard anything for a while.
I’ve found one more site than mine that are displaying the same issue on the fourth + image. They’re using the Storefront theme.

    Hi,
I know that’s not ideal but you’ll need to wait for the devs to fix that one. You may also add the label Bug to your report.
