Lazy Loading

    Hi there,

    From www.remarpro.com:

    “In WordPress 5.5, images will be lazy-loaded by default, using the native HTML loading attribute which became a web standard earlier in 2020″…

    Now I saw in your update that you added lazy loading as well in PhastPress.
    What should we do? Leave it on or turn it off?

    Hi @bangelo123,

    Leave it on. If the loading attribute is added by WordPress, it will not be changed by PhastPress.

    If your theme or plugin code contains img tags without a loading attribute, PhastPress will add the attribute there as well, so that all images (even those not output by WordPress itself) are lazy loaded.
