    Hi,

I am having an issue with your plugin. The lazy loader is making my images don’t appear around all the website. I had to turn off the plugin to remove this situation from my website.

I turn off and turn on the plugin to see if there was a misconfiguration on my part, but the problem persists with the plugin’s original setup.

Here is an image of what was happening.

Is there any configuration I can add to be able to turn on the plugin again?

    Hey there @mjmontero,

It is expected for the plugin to add lazyloaded class to the image if it was lazyloaded. Are you using another lazy-load plugin? This can lead to unexpected behavior if another plugin is changing the image source.

Also, would it be possible to provide a site URL, and enable the SiteGround Optimizer plugin, so we can further investigate the exact cause of that issue?

    Kind regards,
    Stoyan

    Hi,

    We don’t use lazy-load plugin.

I know it was generated by the SG Optimizer plugin because at the moment I disable the plugin the problem with the images not showing disappear. I am not completely sure it is the lazy loading but for sure something with the plugin by itself.

I can’t turn on the plugin because it makes the users not to be able to see any images of the products on the website. I can share with you, for now, my staging environment that is completely a copy of the site with the plugin on. This way you to see the difference when it’s on or off.

    Hey there @mjmontero,

We had a look at the website and it looks like the issue was caused because you are using lazy load from your Xstore theme and also using our lazyloading.

Duplicating functionalities can always cause unexpected behaviour.

To fix that you can disable the lazy loading for product images from the plugin interface from Media Optimization -> Lazy Load media -> Lazy loading of product images.

If you want to use our lazy-load you would have to disable the Xstore lazyload. You can do that from XStore->Theme Options -> Speed Optimization ->
    Image Loading Type.

If you have any issues after that, feel free to reach back to us.

    Kind regards,
    Stoyan

    Hi,

Thanks for the feedback, the images in the product grid do get fixed with this recommendation.

The problem also happens with the products slider images on the home. The only way to fix it was to disable: Media Optimization -> Lazy Load media -> Fix for lazy loading short codes.

Is this fine or can generate other problem?

    thanks
    Maria

    Hello @mjmontero,

Disabling the option should not generate any issues with the website. You can leave it as it is now.

    Best Regards,
    Elena
