    Hi,
I like Optimole and am trying to use it to lazyload my images. However on my category pages the images do not appear until i start scrolling.
    Any idea what’s happening here?
    Thanks so much,

Ah – please ignore this. There was a lazyload setting in my theme which seemed to be interfering with optimole lazyload setting.

Sorry I resolved this too soon… all my product pages have an image which appears for a moment on page display then disappears again. I’m using lazy loading. Here’s an example:

… can you please let me know what would cause this behaviour? The setting for lazy loading of images in the theme is turned off.

If I turn off lazy loading in optimole then the images appear fine.

    Please help.

    Hello,

I think you are referring to the low quality representation of the image that is generated by Optimole when lazy-loading.
You can change this behaviour by toggling Generic Placeholder inside Optimole Settings > Advanced > Lazyloading

Let us know if this solves the issue for you.

    Thank you!

Thanks so much for the reply. I’ve tried that setting both enabled and disabled and it has no effect on this problem.

I can add the class of this image to the lazy load exclusion list but it also excludes a whole set of other images I’d prefer to include.

If you have any other ideas I’d love to hear them.

    Hello,

From looking at this more closely I can see that the issue is that lazy-loading is done by Breezy. Can you check and see if you can disable that and just let Optimole do the Lazy-loading. Now they are conflicting and that’s why you have issues.

If you can’t disable that from Breezy, I can only suggest that you disable Optimole Lazy-loading.

Let us know how it goes.

    Thank you!

Ah I don’t think it’s breeze but looks like my theme might be trying to do something special as when I switch to 2017 theme the problem is resolved. I’ll chase it up with their support – thanks for the quick response !
