    Hi Frank
I Hope you are doing well.
I have some info about the lazy load function with wordpress gutenberg.

I have noticed a problem with the lazy load feature.

Lazy load breaks the gallery function. (wp-blocks).
This I noticed in firefox incognito mode.

I have tried to exclude several ID, Class without luck.
Example wp-gallery-grid, data-thump. I also have tried to disable css and js minification.

I have now deactivate this feature (lazy load) and activated my old plugin a3 lazy load.

I think there is a bug in the lazy load function.

    Regards
    Oliver Nielsen

Hmm, in the HTML source of the linked page there are no wp-gallery-grid, data-thump or data-thumb strings. Moreover as a3 is now active I can’t see what the original HTML looks like.

Would you have a staging-site where you could leave things broken for me to investigate?

Lastly: I see you also use W3 total cache, which has a bug that sees AO’s HTML minification use W3TC’s HTML component which _might_ also impact things here, maybe try with HTML minification off.

    Hi Frank
I have tried to disable html and other thing. I have done test for hours without any luck.
Now I have disabled html minification and disabled A2 lazy load.

Please open firefox in the incognito mode and try again with the link.

    Gallery is broken.

W3 total cache has a bug you wrote.
Ok, but lazy load function works in the A3 plugin. Then it must be a conflict with autoptimize, since A3 lazy load works out of the box.

I also have problems with adsense inside widget, they are not visible sometimes. And it is not possible to do a logout. 3 major errors which I test for.
That’s why I have done all these test, and noticed the gallery bug.

    hmm, problem is the URL to the lazysizes file returns a file not found;

    https://minmadopskrift.dk/jasevuj/classes/external/js/lazysizes.min.js?ao_version=2.6.2

It looks like you’re using “hide my wp” or something and for reasons unknown to me that does not work correctly with AO’s lazysizes. Can you try disabling that, or excluding lazysizes from it?

Sorry my late reply, I was updating windows 10. And this took several hours.

In the meantime I have used a backup and rebuild the website from 5 days ago.

Now, the problem is gone with the gallery.

I did test the (deactivated Hide my wp)and that fix it.

But, I did a “restore website from backup” anyway after the test.

    1. I do not know how you find the errors. But is you able to see why I cannot do a logout anymore.

    2. Why widgets are gone in the firefox incognito mode.

Hope you can help with this?

    I see the same thing when AO is optimized or not (by adding ?ao_noptimize=1 to the URL);

It looks like some kind of CSS conflict between theme and plugin(s), but I have not been able pinpoint the exact problem I’m afraid.

Regarding logout; that’s not something I can test. Is that the standard logout from the right-end side of the top toolbar, under your avatar, linking to /wp-login.php?action=logout&_wpnonce=5736b39q32 (with another number at the end)? or are you using anohter logout button/ link somewhere?

I think you are right about a theme conflict, since I am able to do a logout when I switch to another theme.

Yes I am using another plugin to workaround login. User profile builder and gravity forms.

About widget. Ok, you think it is a theme conflict too.

    Thanks for information.
I will be back with more information, when I have talk to the developers of my theme.

OK, I’ll close as “resolved” as the lazyload issue is fixed, but indeed feel free to follow up with info re. logout/ widgets.
