• Hi,

I am trying to use this plugin to setup lazy load for a slider built with Smart Slider 3 plugin.

Basically, I want to lazy load the images used inside slide but since I am using free version of smart slider 3, I cannot do it.

It though gives me the option to add custom classes or ids to images used inside slider. Can you tell me the class or id that I can assign to the images I used inside slider to make lazy load work for them?

    Any help is seriously appreciated!

    Thankyou ??

    Hi Sahil!

As a general rule, if you have another theme or plugin which also has a LazyLoad feature, you should never try to use that at the same time as WP Rocket’s own LazyLoading, to avoid a conflict.

As to whether or not WP Rocket’s lazyloading is compatible with any given theme, that will vary depending on the theme itself; which means there will be some themes and other plugins which simply aren’t compatible with WP Rocket’s LazyLoad, because of the way they’re each coded.

?With Smart Slider 3 images are loaded as following:

Unfortunately, images found in a CSS file, or loaded from a JavaScript, will not be LazyLoaded as you can read here https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/1141-using-lazyload-in-wp-rocket

Should you have any more questions or concerns please let me know and I’ll be more than happy to help you. Thank you for your time and patience. I hope you have a great day.

    Regards,
    Jorge M
