Lazy load only for specific browsers

    Hi

    Is there a way to activate lazy load for some specific browsers (e.g. Safari), as WordPress 5.5 is adding loading=”lazy” to img tags?

    Currently there is no such option for LSCWP, I will forward this as feature request.

    and may I know what exactly is the goal for such thing ? I mean why you would want to have lazyload on certain browser instead of for them all ?

    I was testing speed with native lazy load in wordpress, and it’s faster than using a plugin, because no javascript is needed.

    But this new feature of wordpress doesn’t work on safari and older browsers.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the info , I will report back to our devs.

    But personally I would think it would be better to report the issue to WP team and fix that on Safari if possible.
