In JetPack 5.6, you say there is some new Lazy Load Module… where is it?

    Hi there!

The module is not visible yet on the UI, but you can find it be heading to

Settings > Debug > Access the full list of Jetpack modules available on your site.

From there, you can select the module and turn it on, if you like to.

Hope that helps! If you have any other questions, just ask ??

So is it live/GA or what?

BTW, it appears in the Appearance category, but not in Photos and Videos.

We soft launched it, so the module is available if you want to give it a try ??
It’s still under active development, that’s why it’s still hidden in the UI.

By the way, @galbaras, thanks so much for reporting the issue here: https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/8320

    Appreciate the effort! <3

that’s just redonkulus. Jetpack announced that it’s a new feature in this release… yet, only a “beta” feature which you can’t get to easily. Dumb.

Let’s be nice to people who give us free software, OK?

The feature is already out, @schaon, so you’re very welcome to start using it as it should be working fine.

As we’re still working on it, we preferred to sort of “soft launched” it, that’s all ??

Any doubts or bugs you may find, we’re happy to listen to you!

Sorry… I didn’t mean to not come off as “nice” – just frustrated. I was just trying to point out the fact that they announced it… but I guess it’s still in Beta?

I think part of it is that it is something that I was looking for… and couldn’t find it, and the irritation around that… and with being a small business owner, not having the time to keep up with this and that… hiding something that’s announced as being out, just adds things to my plate that doesn’t need to be added to.

So, Stefania… in the future… please keep that in mind. Maybe for those type of things, clearly say that it’s in Beta, but if you’d liked to try it out… how to activate it (like where to go to find it), etc.

Thanks much! (oh, and PS — it seems to be running very nicely on my sites).
