As most of you may be aware, WordPress now offers built-in functionality for creating a slideshow by clicking the following in a post…..Add Media>Insert Gallery>Gallery Settings>Type>Slideshow

You may see such a slideshow in the link to the page included.

I noticed that the slideshow had suddenly gone blank….all the captions and navigation pointers were there, but the images were missing.

The only fix seems to be disabling Lazy Load of Images in Jetpack Settings

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi –

The carousel works for me at https://www.cabaltimes.com/2016/12/11/rupee_goes_awol/.

I’m guessing that you have disabled the Lazy Load setting for the time being?

As a first step we should rule out any other plugin conflicts. Try these steps:

    1. Disable every plugin on the site.
    2. Sign out of WordPress.com.
    3. Clear browser cache.
    4. Sign back in to WordPress.com.
    5. Reinstall the Jetpack plugin on the site.
    6. Test the carousel.
