Lazy Images – Issues and Suggestions

Thank you for finally incorporating a lazy loader to Jetpack – I have been waiting for this feature for a while and I cannot wait to replace BJ Lazy Load with Lazy Images!

I have tried the plugin on my site and while it works, I have certain issues that I would love the plugin to address.

Specifically:
1) Exclude widgets, post thumbnails and gravatars from lazy images
2) Allow class exceptions. For example, if I wanted to skip a particular image from being lazy loaded, I would love to add something like class=”nolazy”. There are cases when we have to use other tools and plugins that simply won’t work with lazy images, so this will make it work.

Thank you for considering – many of us hope to move away from third party lazy load plugins!
