    Hi there,

Please refer to the below link. I would like to find out how I can shift the right column of words closer to the picture to the left.

Also some padding on the left and right of the post to make the page look better.

Can anyone advise? I am rather new to WP.

    Thanks,
    -Jo

  • When I view that page, the photo does not float to the left of any text – it is above it.

When you insert a photo using the Add Media button, you can choose it’s alignment (none, left, right, center). It sounds like what you want is to align it to the left of the text.

As for the margins, that would be in your stylesheet, you’ll need to look for the class that is applied to the image and adjust the margins there….but BACKUP your stylesheet first – mistakes there can be disastrous if you don’t know what you are doing.

Thank you Trisha for your reply, I have been playing around and figured it out ??

But here are two more issues I am facing and would like to have changed:
    1. Remove the hover opacity over the dog’s image.
    2. Reduce the image size. Seems like WP created a default space for the image to fill. I would like to have the image smaller but reducing the image size doesnt seem to do the trick as the image still filled up the space and will be more pixelated.

    Thanks!
