Layout not stacked – Weird placement

    Hi MooMooAgency,

    I really like the plugin so far, but I am having issues with displaying the options.

    When editing the page in Uni CPO Editor, it looks fine. But when I switch to the real page the whole layout is messed up and basically places items on place’s they shouldn’t be floating.

    Is there a simple CSS line I am missing perhaps?

    The theme I am using is The7, and I updated everything to the latest version.

    Multiple things are wrong.
    1. The Width and Height on the first line are not two columns, but stacked.
    2. “Wel of niet laten verven?” is aligned right, while it should be left as default.
    3. The remaining options are stacked on top of the Colorpickers.

    Also, why does the page always show “This value is required” by default on opening? Shouldn’t it only be saying this when a user either submits or leaves a box empty?

    I am aware of the fact that very likely a direct link to the page itself is required, but the site has a Construction Landingpage setup.

    For that reason, I am willing to add you as an Administrator to the site so you could have a look. Just let me know and I can get this sorted out.

    I feel like i have to step in here, as I’m afraid there’s two points of forum guideline violations going on.

    First one, @casperster18, please do not offer up admin access to your site.
    Second one, @moomooagency, please do not ask to be emailed credentials.

    Our guidelines explicitly mentions handing over/asking for access to sites, not because we expect bad intentions, but because these are volunteer based forums, and as soon as you log in to someones site, you are liable for anything that happens.

    @casperster18 We have fixed many bugs in new version of the plugin. Please update it via wordpress dashboard to 4.0.3 version and let me know if issues still left.

    Hi MooMoo,

    Thankyou for letting me know about the update.
    I updated to the latest version of the plugin and now a few issues seem to be resolved. But the 2-columns are still showing up as one stacked column, and the “This value is required” message still shows up on default.

    So 2 and three seems to be resolved. Though I cannot check this for sure, because after I updated I suddenly got the unfriendly message that I would have to pay $150 to get just my photo’s back. Something that worked perfectly before the update, but now requires me to upgrade to the so-called “Pro” version out of nowhere.

    Thanks for your link. Now I understand the problem.

    First of all you need to fix this problem “Blocked active content download” on your hosting https://joxi.ru/J2bVWa3sXKxN62 It is problem with access rights on your hosting. With this please contact to your hosting provider. I have tested and I can say for sure that CPO plugin generate correct stylesheet and that file exist https://joxi.ru/D2PY908cpVjg3A So problem is only with access rights! If you fix it, problem with columns disappear!

    The second thing which I have found out! After click on radio input your theme add own custom class .selected (with some css rules) https://joxi.ru/KAxol7jiMPnlo2 and prevent to click on this input https://joxi.ru/BA00EWRFJnl3LA So you can’t select any suboption in this module. I suggest to you to write to developers of the theme and ask them to change it. Because I can’t fix it using plugin.

    Thankyou for the analysis.

    I have spoken to the Hosting Company, and the CSS issue is now resolved. So the columns are looking good.

    A new issue has emerged however.
    I upgraded to the Pro version of the plugin today, and even though the images from the free version seem to have transferred over to the Pro version, I do not see the images on the frontend. Nor does the code of the page show any signs of the image being supposed to be visible there. I have already tried deleting the picture and re-adding it, but that doesn’t work either.

    I am still working on the Radio Checkboxes, but I don’t think that such a big theme is going to prioritize working on a bug that affects maybe 5, 10 people.
    As you have already seen the problem, and found a fix for it using JavaScript..

    Do you have a code snippet that I could add to a specific file of the theme?
    If you could let me know, that would be awesome!
