  • Yes, ads can be used in AMP in the form of amp-ads. While the plugin doesn’t have any ad specific functionality itself you can use third party ads related plugins previously mentioned (Advanced Ads or Ad Inserter) to insert your ads. Just remember to use AMP valid versions of any ad code for your AMP URLs.

    If you’re a Google AdSense user you may also be interested in the Site Kit plugin, which can insert your AdSense Auto ads code on both your canonical (non AMP) and your AMP URLs.
